Who’s Behind the Bar?

If you’re here, you already know your brand deserves better than the bland, mass-produced copy floating around. You need messaging that makes people stop scrolling, break out their wallets, and crave your product like a midnight snack.

I’m the one who makes that happen.

Looking for a Copywriter who Actually Gets It? Congrats, You Just Did.

The CPG and Food & Bev space isn’t oversaturated, mediocre branding is.

Think about it. Have you ever walked into a grocery store and seen 20 different bottles of ketchup? Most of them are forgettable. Same tired packaging, same robotic copy, same desperate attempt at a tagline that was probably workshopped to death in a fluorescent-lit office.

Your brand isn’t meant to blend in. You didn’t pour your time, energy, and budget into creating something amazing just for people to pass it up in the aisle.

That’s where I come in.

As a seasoned copywriter, I craft copy that makes customers' lives change, because emotion sells. And if your messaging is flat, predictable, or straight-up boring, it’s the missing ingredient that’s keeping your brand from scaling.

I’m Dalji, a Midwest-born, HBCU alumna, and the proud mother of the world’s most beautiful and bougie mini poodle, Bourjie (yes, that’s his actual name).

I’m also a solo traveler, polyglot, and dedicated member of both the Beyhive and the Lambily (because range is important). And when I’m not writing copy that makes brands irresistible, I’m deep in a Real Housewives marathon like it’s a sociology study.

But most importantly? As a copywriter in Columbus, Oh, I’ve spent the last eight years helping brands like yours break out of neutral and become iconic.

You’re Here Because of The Big Three (And I Know How to Fix Them):

Understanding. Your product is what’s missing in the CPG world, but nobody knows it. It’s vibes are boring as hell and due to unclear messaging.

Stagnant as a pond. Sales and engagement have stalled, but you swear you didn’t change anything. That's the problem. There is a disconnect between your product and the audience’s needs.

Disconnected like your calls when you enter a tunnel: Your ideas are brilliant, but the messaging has lost focus.Your messaging is inconsistent, outdated, or straight-up AI.

~ You deserve it all - Here’s Why

90% of purchasing decisions are subconscious. If your brand isn’t making people feel something, it’s forgettable. People need a reason to care.

Mixing personality, humility and authenticity into your brand creates memorable experiences. I mean don’t we all remember the first restaurant to give us food poisoning? How many times did you go back?… Exactly

This strategy is the KEY ingredient to forming a dedicated customer base that resonates with your unique identity. And if there’s one thing I can promise you is, Marketing jargon will remain the missing ingredient

The best brands tap into emotion, personality, and humor to create a family-like community. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about having the best product.

It’s about making sure people actually notice it.

That’s why I’m here for you.

Why Work With Me?

Like I mentioned before, scarcity marketing is my least favorite strategy. That’s how you end up with impulse buys that sit in your closet for 15 years. Anyway, I’m not about to sit here and tell you I’m the only copywriter worth hiring. In fact, I am mutual’s with plenty of talented ones, and those women inspire me so much.

Here’s the real reason you should hire me:

✅ I love doing the things you hate. SEO research, market analysis, brand audits, the whole nerdy side of marketing.

✅ I’m obsessed with CPG branding. Like, “rewatching old holiday commercials for fun” obsessed.

✅ I’ve spent 8 years creating marketing material for some of the world’s biggest brands, and now, you get access to that expertise.

Your job is to make your product the best thing on the market. My job? To make sure everyone knows about it.

Let’s rewind.

As a kid, my favorite part of the holidays wasn’t the gifts, it was the holiday ads.

I was fascinated by how brands could take the same products you could buy year-round and make them feel like absolute necessities. The emotional marketing, the nostalgia, the subtle psychology behind every tagline? I ate it up… and so did everyone else who waited in line for a flat screen TV on black Friday.

But it wasn’t just about the products. It was about the way these ads made me feel. They made ordinary items feel special, even magical. How did humans learn they could create emotional connections to material items at this scale?

I didn’t just use the catalogs to circle things my parents could never afford to buy me. I used them to admire the art of the ads—the way the visuals, words, and strategy came together. I was already seeing the power of messaging before I even realized it.

As I grew older, I pursued my passion for understanding how to connect with people through business. Fast forward to high school, where I took business courses, then college, where I graduated with a degree in Marketing. I have spent the last 8 years working with some of the world’s largest brands, crafting messaging that’s memorable and effective.

And now? I get to do what I love, helping brands turn their vision into obsession-worthy messaging that keeps people hooked.

My career goals have always centered on blending creativity with strategy, and as a copywriter, I get to do both. Everyday, I get to collaborate with passionate CPG entrepreneurs, helping them bring their stories to life in ways that resonate with their audience and create loyal, excited customers.
